Children’s Safety Village of Belleville Names Rachelle Baldock as Executive Director
Belleville, ON – May 26, 2025
The Children’s Safety Village of Belleville proudly announces Rachelle Baldock as its new Executive Director. With a strong background in the nonprofit sector and a passion for youth and community development, Baldock steps into the role at a time of exciting growth for the organization.
She holds a degree in Community Development and Policy Studies and has worked extensively with organizations that support children, families, and vibrant communities. Her experience in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and program development makes her ideally suited to guide the Village’s mission of providing vital safety education to children across the region.
“It’s an honour to join the Children’s Safety Village,” said Baldock. “This organization plays a crucial role in educating and empowering our youth. I’m excited to build on its strong foundation and help shape a safer, more informed future for children throughout the Quinte Region.”
The Board of Directors expressed full confidence in her leadership.
“Rachelle brings deep passion and an unwavering commitment to youth safety education,” said Board Chair Jean Czyczyro. “Her community-focused approach and vision will be instrumental as we expand our reach, enhance existing programs, and move forward with plans for a new facility.”
The Village is currently preparing to launch a capital campaign to build a new headquarters and safety education centre at Clifford ‘Sonny’ Belch Park, on the former Hillcrest Public School grounds. While timelines are still in development, Baldock will play a key role in steering the campaign and future initiatives.
