1st ANNUAL TEDDY BEARS PICNIC
CHILDREN’S SAFETY VILLAGE PUTTING THE FUN INTO FAMILY
Belleville, ON - The Belleville Children’s Safety Village (CSV) is pleased to announce their 1st Annual Teddy Bear Picnic taking place at the CSV on Saturday May 25th from 12:00pm 2:00pm. The event will commemorate National Missing Children’s Day by providing families with the opportunity to spend quality family together and children to form lasting childhood memories.
Events and activities include; live entertainment courtesy of the Harry J. Clarke Student Choir, a bouncy castle provided by Extreme Rush Adventures, BBQ provided by Quinte Crime Stoppers, face painting, balloon creations, a “teddy bear hospital” courtesy of QHC nursing staff and the Belleville Lion’s Club, and a variety of child friendly games and activities. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase wood cut out teddy bears which they can paint and decorate in support of CSV programs and all donations are welcome but not required. The event will conclude with a “Parade of Jeeps on CSV Streets”. Safety Seminars are also available prior to the event from 11:00am - 12:00pm (free of charge, registration required).
